Canada showed some gumption in not participating in the American Vietnam debacle, going so far as to shield American conscientious objectors, while the Australians and Kiwis made minor contributions with troops and materiel support. Mother Britain had a curious neutral position, making no direct assets contributions, but not suspending normal training of US Marines by Royal Marines, especially at OCS Quantico, as physical training instructors.
